This book contains the papers presented at the West East High Speed Flow Fields (WEHSFF_2002) conference held in Marseilles (France) during the period 22-26 April 2002. This conference was in connection with the third European FloWnet (Flow Library Over the Web network) data base workshop. The 57 papers included 10 invited contributions are focussed on both experimental and computational progress in aerospace applications from high subsonic to hypersonic regime.
The content of the papers covers research developments inmodelling, esperimentation and numerical simulation in the following topics: Experiments in high speed flows, real gas effects, gas/surface interaction, laminar to turbulence transition, shock / shock interactions, wind tunnel nozzles, transonic and supersonic flow validation, fluid/structure and fluid/waves interactions
