This volume contains the papers presented at the Symposium on Constitutive Laws held in conjunction with the International Conference on Engineering Science (ICES95) in Mauna Lani, Hawaii on July 30-Aug. 3, 1995. The main purpose of the Symposium was to provide a forum for discussing issues related to constitutive laws for engineering materials. The book content has been specifically designed to cover a vide range of advanded topics in the constitutive modeling of standard and new engineering materials, as well as in the applications of the models to structural analysis using numerical techniques.
